John Edmond's Story

 

At the end of last summer my weight was hovering in a jelly like manner at around 17 stones. An annual visit for a medical confirmed my worst fears – weight loss was essential to avoid and eliminate diabetes and sleep disorders respectively.

 

What really helped was starting the WIN programme. We made a weekly appointment and set targets that were challenging but achievable. It was interesting to fully discover the laws of nutrition, which govern weight loss. Each session covered a new subject and checked out what had been put in to practice since the previous week.

 

It was very reassuring to have an advisor who was so focused on helping me reach the realistic targets that were set and provided excellent encouragement throughout the programme.

 

The WIN method was a sensible change in eating habits and avoided crash dieting and impending starvation. It continues to be enjoyable, and some six months later I have achieved an overall weight loss of three stone.
